About HUACWR:

The Howard University Alumni Club of Westchester and Rockland is a constituent unit of the Howard University Alumni Association, an organization formed by Howard University, a tax-exempt entity pursuant to Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). The Club assists in implementing the goals and purposes of the Howard University Alumni Association and represents the alumni of Westchester and Rockland counties, New York. Your donation will benefit the Club's activities and help us to succeed in reaching our goals.

About the Ella Coleman Washington Scholarship Fund of Howard University:

The Fund was established by the Howard University Alumni Club of Westchester and Rockland, to provide a source of financial aid to deserving students enrolled at Howard University from Westchester or Rockland County, New York that have financial need. The Fund was also established to serve as a manifestation of Ella Coleman Washington’s appreciation and support of the aims and objectives of Howard. Howard’s Office of Student Financial Services administers the Fund.

This scholarship makes the Howard experience possible for some of the best and brightest students in Westchester and Rockland counties with financial need. Your donation helps your alma mater, by boosting the participation rate of alumni giving, which is a major factor in the yearly rankings of U.S. colleges. Your gift is important to the lives of Westchester and Rockland students and elevates Howard’s standing among peer institutions, while enhancing the value of your degree.
